Resources
- America Supports You
America Supports you connects individuals, organizations and companies to hundreds of home front groups offering a variety of support to the military community.
- Military Avenue
Created by a team of military and Internet veterans, MilitaryAvenue is an online service supporting relocation, travel, and lifestyle needs of the American military family. This very large family is made of millions of active duty military, retirees, veterans, DoD contractors, and of course military spouses and children.
At MilitaryAvenue, we created an extensive directory of service providers and public services. Organized into over 100 categories, we offer complete views of 231 military installations and their surrounding communities.
Most importantly, our company acts as an advocate for the military family and community, searching for and finding businesses that work hard to serve the military. We encourage businesses to provide discounted merchandise and services to those who serve. If they offer a military discount, or as we call it, a “Military Reward,” they can advertise on our site for free. We would simply like to recognize the businesses that reward those who serve.
- Occupational outlook handbook
This hand book tells you about training and education needed for a job, earnings, what workers do on the job and the working conditions of the job.
- Washington Academy of Physician Assistants (WAPA)
Washington Academy of Physician Assistants (WAPA) ensure the
professional growth and recognition of PAs in the health care team and
promote excellence of patient centered care in Washington State. The
WAPA Veterans Committee's mission is to honor and represent Washington
State veterans though advocacy, outreach, community involvement and
education.

- Operation First Response
So many of us born to this country do not even know that there are certain things expected of us as American citizens, that we have a responsibility to defend this country's constitution and it's people. We give the responsibility to our military to take up arms and defend our homeland. When they have given all they can, isn't it then that our responsibilities kick in and we embrace them? Isn't it our job to give them hope and security, the same security that they enlisted to be in harms way for us? Our sacrifices in giving them hope and a chance for a promising future is so small in comparison to their sacrifices. It should be so easy for us to care for our Heroes. If each of us gave a small gesture of kindness to them imagine the difference we could make.
When our wounded say to us "What will I do now?"
Please join us in saying "Take my hand and we will get through this together and give hope to all that need it."
- Veterans Resource
Veterans Resource is an organization committed to helping military personnel and their families with the emotional challenges that come with war. We are experts in treating trauma, PTSD/combat stress and have decades of experience working with families. We understand that you have been asked to dedicate your lives to a cause, and may or may not have been aware of what you were committing yourselves or your family to. Maybe you were thinking that you or your partner did the time in the military and now it is time to come back, get a job and move on with your life, now the pieces are not fitting right. Perhaps your situation has changed in the past 5 years. If you need some support through this time, know that you have us as a resource. If you are feeling like you need way more than support, call us, we are trained to help.
